Cobnar Books is situated in the Kent countryside 30 miles from London, 10 minutes from J4 of the M20 and 40 minutes from Eurotunnel. Wateringbury is on the River Medway, in the heart of the historic fruit and hop growing Garden of England. The RCHM survey estimated that there are still more than 20,000 mediaeval buildings in private ownership in Kent, giving much of the county its characteristic patchwork of small fields and woods intermingled with villages containing many timber framed houses. Visitors to the bookroom are welcome by prior appointment.
